a gem amidst the city lights

wide selection happy demeanor

I found the breakfast to be a true delight. there was a wide selection of fruit, yogurts, cheeses, hot food, bakery items, juices and hot drinks. Their happiness and chatty demeanor were quite comforting. i felt at home.

i noticed a slight lack of space in the room for luggage. it would have been convenient with a bit more room for storage. this minor issue did not significantly affect my experience.

The front of house staff was great. They were quiet and efficient. housekeeping performed very well, maintaining perfect cleanliness, and the spa staff was also wonderful. all requests were handled swiftly.

the breakfast quality stood out, which makes sense with gino d'a campo restaurant being inside. i saw superb ingredients were used, especially evident at breakfast. the hot food tasted fresh, and i loved all the juices.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location is excellent. Breakfast in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere was beautiful.

The room was very cold upon arrival. I tried to manage the heating to warm up. It then became too warm and very stuffy overnight. I had very bad sleep both nights because of the temperature. I could not open a window for a quick fix.

The room was spacious and simple. It was also immaculate. I had a great night's sleep because it was silent.

The hotel food seemed very overpriced for what you get. I think the hotel is starting to feel a bit tired. I noticed marks over the walls and some missing paint.

Acceptable Stay with Service Issues

poor service wine substitution

The location was good for exploring the city.

The restaurant service was really poor. It took over three hours for a three-course meal because the waiter ignored us and did not offer drinks (I had to get water from the bar). He then substituted my dad's wine without telling us, unacceptable, especially given potential allergy concerns.

open plan bathroom no privacy

the breakfast was nice they had beverage which is for free in the fridge

the bathroom was completely open plan you get out the shower naked and you're in the room thankfully the toilet had a door i've never stayed anywhere like it where you have no privacy like this we had to get around it by leaving the room so each of us could have a shower and get dressed it was baffling and completely inappropriate for work travel.
